The Minnesota National Bank Buidling is part of the history of downtown Duluth. Most people will recognize the building as Livingston's Big Duluth, a popular reatiler of men's clothing. Over its history, the buidling also served as a bank and a furniture store. After Livingston's went out of business in 1992, the buidling sat vacant for over four years in the hear of Duluth's downtown. A&L Properties invested over $2.0 million restoring the 108 year old building as it appeared when it was a bank. Today the building is home to The Duluth Budgeteer News and Wells Fargo Bank offices.

Marble to restore the facade of hte building came from the same quarry that produced the marble for the front of hte original Minnesota National Bank Building.
